Innovation; Responsibility; Sustainability; Inclusiveness
Agricultural production faces severe threats from five major environmental stresses: water, light, temperature, soil, and air. These adversities often overlap—heat intensifies drought, cold comes with low light, and soil degradation weakens resilience—resulting in lower yields and poorer crop quality. The Plant Health Institute is dedicated to delivering science-based solutions that help agriculture meet these ecological challenges with confidence.

Established in 2022, PHI has been at the forefront of global research from its inception. As an enterprise-level research center, PHI brings together a 150-member R&D team of master's and Ph.D. researchers dedicated to addressing the five major abiotic stress factors: water, light, temperature, soil, and air. The institute has built a comprehensive innovation chain spanning fundamental research, technological development, and industrial application.
Looking ahead, the institute will focus on its Stress-Response Gene Decoding Initiative, establishing a trinity innovation system integrating Bioactive Compound Database, Stress-Response Modeling, AI-Powered Design System. Through continuous technological advancement, PHI aims to transform agriculture from passive stress resistance to active regulation, delivering quantifiable scientific solutions for global food security.
